秋冬养阴(英语版)
“春夏养阳、秋冬养阴”是《黄帝内经》中的养生名言。
“ Nourishing yang in spring and summer, while nourishing yin in autumn and winter” is a famous health-preserving saying in Huangdi Neijing (Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine).
冬天那么冷,为什么还要养阴?会不会“寒上加寒”,当然不会。因为冬天天气变冷,人体阳气顺应大自然潜藏的趋势藏到体内了,体内的阴液在内收的阳气相比之下,就会显得相对不足,这时候可以服用银耳汤、秋梨膏等养阴之品。
Why nourish yin in winter as it is so cold? Would it be “ cold plus cold ”? Surely not. Complying with the garnering trend of the great nature in winter, the yang qi in human body would stockpile as it gets cold. Yin fluid would be relatively insufficient compared with the adducent yang qi. At this time, one can take yin nourishing products such as the yin’er (tremella) soup,and the autumn pear syrup.
此外,我们还常常推荐冬至养生膏方,因为“冬至一阳生”,“冬至膏方”不仅能维持体内阴阳平衡,还会提高来年的机体免疫力,这就是常说的“冬至进补,来年打虎”。

冬天我们频繁食入羊肉等温阳之品来御寒,容易出现口腔溃疡、牙龈鼻腔出血等“上火”的症状,此时服用“乌梅汤”等滋阴之品,可以起到“引火下行”的作用。
In winter, since we frequently eat warm yang products like mutton to keep out the cold, it is easy to cause "heatiness" symptoms such as mouth ulcers, gingival and nasal bleeding. 所以秋冬养阴很有必要。

《素问·四气调神大论》道:“夫四时阴阳者,万物之根本也。所以圣人春夏养阳,秋冬养阴,……故阴阳四时者,万物之终始也,死生之本也,逆之则灾害生,从之则苛疾不起,是谓得道。”可见古人用体内阳气随季节而有表里趋向之变的规律来说明这一养生之道的科学性值得推广。
